How Do Essential Oils Work?

October 4, 2011

Essential oils are made up of amino acid structures.  This is why they are synergistic, why they will penetrate the dermal shield (skin) so quickly, and will absorb into the system so effectively and fast.

By applying the oils to the skin, they will go into the  system within 2-3 seconds and saturate the whole body in about 20 minutes (depending on the size of the body).  The effects of the essential oils can last up to 5 months.

Because of their molecular structure, essential oils form an amino acid chain which bonds with proteins. This means that anytime you rub essential oils on your skin, drop them in your mouth, or use the dietary supplements (such as Young Living’s  Multigreens or NingXia Red), the essential oil molecules are bonding with the proteins of the tissue they are in contact with.

Essential oils have a chemical structure that is similar to that found in human cells and tissues; thus making them compatible with human protein, which enables them to be readily identified and accepted by the body.

Because of their unique ability they can penetrate the cell membranes and diffuse throughout the blood and tissue. So in other words, the essential oils bond with protein molecules and therefore they enhance the protein absorption, protein conversion, and protein utilization.

Essential oils, without question, enhance your body’s ability to utilize the protein more efficiently and, by using essential oils, we are assisting the body to heal itself.

Progessence Plus – The Magic Bullet for Women

October 18, 2011

Progessence Plus

Progessence Plus allows women to have natural hormonal balance the way nature intended.  It is an essential oil blend of 95% essential oils, Frankincense, copaiba (reduces inflammation), rosewood and cedarwood (aids with the absorption), bergamot, and peppermint, in a natural Vitamin E base. Wild yam (a natural progesterone) is dissolved directly into the oils.

Specifically formulated by Dr. Dan Purser and D. Gary Young, to maximize the effects of progesterone by utilizing an innovative delivery system;  a super micronized progesterone and frankincense mixture so you can absorb it better through the skin.  Progessence Plus is the first-ever progesterone serum on the market. It is portable, has a pleasant smell, and does not require the cycling of application sites like synthetics do.

Your pituitary:

Produces Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is a hormone found in humans and other animals. FSH regulates the development, growth, pubertal maturation, and reproductive processes of the body.  FSH comes out of the front of your pituitary. Its very fragile. If your brain shifts you can damage the stalk. FSH comes from the pituitary, goes to the ovaries, stimulates them to make P4 (progesterone).

The most common cause of low progesterone in younger women is pituitary damage. Trauma from stress, surgery, car accidents (whiplash), traumatic shock, tumors, drug inhaling (vaso restrictor), cheerleading, gymnastics, Traumatic Brain Injury, childbirth issues (sheehans’s Syndrome), etc.

Low progesterone symptoms:

  • PMS (average menopause is age 51)
  • Headaches, especially bad migraine headaches.
  • Endometriosis-progesterone resistance
  • Hot flashes-low progesterone levels
  • Day and night sweats
  • Tmj disorders
  • Insomnia
  • Demyelination which leads to neuropathies. Covering over the nerves
  • Lack of libido (feelings of sexiness)
  • Hair loss
  • Increased acne

Progesterone and estrogen balance each other in the body. Estrogen is a steroid compound hormone that is made up of a group of three different hormones: estrone, estradiol, and estriol. Estrogen is primarily responsible for regulating menstrual cycles. It also plays a central role in other uniquely female functions, such as reproduction and lactation.

Symptoms of Low Estrogen Levels

  • Fatigue
  • Hot Flashes
  • Night Sweats
  • Memory Lapses
  • Difficulty Concentrating
  • Joint Pain
  • Vaginal Dryness
  • Dry Skin
  • Symptoms of High Estrogen Levels
  • Mood Swings
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Loss of  Libido
  • Insomnia
  • Headaches
  • Weight Gain
  • Breast Tenderness
  • Irregular Periods
  • Water Retention/Bloating
  • Hypoglycemia

Benefits of progesterone (human P4) to women

  • It cools the arteries!
  • Prevents 98% of hot flashes
  • Prevents 98% night or day sweats
  • Prevents 98% of pms
  • Prevents 98% of migraine headaches (in females only)
  • Really improves post partum depression
  • Aids in weight loss
  • Helps regrow hair in women
  • Decreases acne
  • Mood elevates, well being
  • Helps with 95% of TMJ inflammation
  • Reduces breast cancer risk
  • Aids somnolence (makes you sleepy)
  • Heals nerves! (Causes nerve remyelination)
  • Gets rid of endometriosis symptoms
  • Improves bone density
  • Improves libido

P4 does not equal synthetic progesterone-like chemicals called progestogens; which bind to the body’s progesterone receptors and function for the most part, just like progesterone.  Because they are chemically different than natural progesterone, they sometimes have side effects or actions that are different than progesterone. (For one, they are believed to increase your risk of breast cancer).

Progessence Plus is the fully formed progesterone. Not a yam precursor like some of the “natural” products available today.  Pure progesterone is the end product -super micronized for tiny particle size-less than 5 microns. The tinier – the better absorbed by your body.

Product Use

For women only (Don’t use directly on men, it lowers their libido).  Can be used by all menstruating females over the age of twelve.

Apply 2–4 drops twice daily on neck area. For added effect, apply 1–2 drops along forearms twice daily. Does not need to be rotated on different  areas of the body or cycled throughout the month.

Individual needs may vary. Dosage and duration could vary from person to person based on age, current progesterone levels, and menstruation
